Biography
Chief Nicholson began working for the Springfield Police Department in 1989. From 1996-2002 he was the Police Sergeant. He was promoted to Chief on December 7th, 2002. Chief Nicholson serves as our training officer in numerous areas. He on the Brown County TRIAD board, serves on the Brown County Victims Service Board, and is also part of the Salvation Army Board. John is also a member of the Springfield Ambulance Service and is a Reserve for the Brown County Sheriff's Office.
