Springfield Area Historical Society

  • SAHS was established to discover, preserve, and disseminate historical knowledge about Springfield. The museum is located on Central Street and is collecting artifacts and information. Family and corporate memberships, at $10 and $25 respectively, provide annual support.
  • The museum is closed from January to May- or upon appointment. Call 507-723-5396 to schedule a time for you or your group to visit our museum.
  • The Springfield Museum summer hours are Wednesday and Friday Afternoon from 2:00-4:00PM, and the second and fourth Saturday of each month from 10:00AM to Noon.
  • Annual Meeting is held in April.

Springfield Rotary

  • Service Above Self - Primary function is to promote education and do fund raising for local, national and international projects.

Springfield Girl Scouts

  • Focus - To give girls ages kindergarten through 12th grade opportunities to develop self-esteem, self-reliance, and leadership and teamwork skills in a fun and safe environment. Springfield has troops for each age level.

  • Focus - Developing character and maturity by learning to work together, camp together and play.

  • For boys grades 1 to 5. Teaching character development, getting along with others and doing ones best. Each grade has a den and den leader.

  • Focus - To enhance the arts in our community and surrounding area.

  • Focus - Donations to local projects and student scholarships. Third Saturday of every month is a steak fry 5:30PM to 9:00PM.

  • Focus - Fundraisers for student scholarships and various projects. Fish fry - on first Friday in Lent and on Good Friday. Food stand on Riverside Days.

Brookville Livewires 4-H Club

  • 4-H is a youth program that is an informal, practical, learning-by-doing educational program that encourages families to learn together and interact with their community. It promotes youth of tomorrow working together.

Burnstown Bustlers 4-H Club
